Sharon Wheeler's BoneWork Courses in the UK
Sharon Wheeler’s BoneWork June 2025
We are pleased to offer a 5 day BoneWork course in June 2025
When: June 18th – June 22
Timings: 9am – 5.30pm each day (5 days)
Where: The Miller’s Way Project The Tabernacle Memorial Hall, Miller’s Way, London W6 7NH
Cost: £995 early bird (before 31st March 2025) £1050 after.
Teachers: Jannie Cnossen, Dr Heike Jäger and James Palmer
Clinical BoneWork
On the practical side you will learn how to use BoneWork techniques to unwind and unhook bones and joints from the disorganized functional relationships they can get into after accidents (“Bone Rolling”) and the phenomenon which Sharon calls Bone Change which addresses bone shape and contour. Bone Change employs precisely placed manual pressure into the fascial elements of the bone. The chronic distortions left over from badly healed breaks in the bone, or “scars” in the bone, transform towards normal in moments. Results appear to be permanent. Both lines of work aim to improve structure and function
The Science of BoneWork
This course will include presentations from neurophysiologist Dr Heike Jäger from the Fascia Research Center at the University of Ulm, Germany. She has been studying Sharon Wheeler’s work deeply over the last few years and will explain the physiological mechanisms which enable BoneWork and discuss how BoneWork relates to particular pathologies. Heike is passionate about translating and articulating what we do in clinic in a scientific way. BoneWork may seem like magic, but don’t say that too near Heike!
Prerequisites
Five years of professional practice, and preferably study of Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork (or Structural Integration). I may run a preparatory weekend if there is demand.

Sharon Wheeler’s Tail End: Structural Integration of the Pelvis September 2025
We are pleased to offer a 5 day Tail End course in September 2025 with Sharon Wheeler teaching
When: September 3rd – September 7th
Timings: 9am – 5.30pm each day (5 days)
Where: The Miller’s Way Project The Tabernacle Memorial Hall, Miller’s Way, London W6 7NH
Cost: £995 early bird (before 31st May 2025) £1050 after
Teachers: Sharon Wheeler, Jannie Cnossen and Dr Heike Jäger
The Tail End of the body seems to receive a generous number of accidental impacts. And these impacts can distort the relationship between the bones and distort the actual shape of the bones in the region; the sacrum, coccyx, pelvis, and femur.
Sharon will give a guided tour of structural landmarks through this complex region. These landmarks give you a guide to evaluate good structure from damaged structure. Relevant Structural Integration work will be reviewed as well as specialized BoneWork for the remediation of any bent bones or badly healed breaks throughout this region.
Students will be able to exchange sessions to receive help for their own Tail End troubles and we will have models for practice as well (with supervision). Note: this course is intended for manual therapists of all backgrounds, including but not limited to, Structural Integrators
The Science Behind Pelvic Integration
This course will include presentations from neurophysiologist Dr Heike Jäger from the Fascia Research Center at the University of Ulm, Germany. She has been studying Sharon Wheeler’s work deeply over the last few years and will explain the physiological mechanisms related to pelvic function and discuss how the work relates to particular pathologies. Heike is passionate about translating and articulating what we do in clinic in a scientific way. BoneWork may seem like magic, but don’t say that too near Heike!
